I LOVE when clients ask about bridal sessions. Seriously! Your wedding day can be so crazy and full of activity/nerves/emotions/stress/etc and to ease some of those feelings, why not schedule a photo session with your photographer a month or two ahead of time?! The day of your hair and make-up trial is a perfect time to plan for bridal portraits. This also gives you an opportunity to take photos of you and your gorgeous dress, in a few locations that may be out of reach on the actual wedding day. Incorporating a bouquet or even an antique piece of furniture isn't necessary, but, a fantastic idea to make your bridal portraits a little more special. Sally chose to have her bridal portraits taken at Wormsloe, which I absolutely love. The road is lined with massive moss filled oak trees, there's the lovely archway at the entrance and the white picket fence at the end of the long drive that all makes for a magical location for these very special photographs. Sally was the quintessential "southern belle" and I just enjoyed every minute with her and her mother during this shoot.
(And they were so sweet to wait for my brother to bring me my spare keys because I, in typical Marianne form,
locked my keys in my trunk! ... Oops!)
