Engagement sessions are a very important time for both the photographer and the client. Your photographer is someone that you will be spending most of your wedding day with. So, you want to be sure that you are not only comfortable working with each other, but, that you can also fully communicate with one another what the photographer (me..haha) and you want out of your wedding photos. You also want to choose someone whose style you really like. Make sure to pay attention to the locations of some of your favorite shots. Were they shot indoors? Outside mostly? With a flash?
Personally, I prefer to use natural lighting for a majority of the wedding photos that I take. I do use a flash when it comes to indoor receptions, however, my favorite photos are all taken outside. There's nothing that can quite beat the lighting that comes from the sun, especially under the beautiful Savannah oaks.
I met Kara in high school at St. Vincent's and it's CRAZY to think that we are coming up on 10 YEARS since that time! (I don't even want to start thinking about it, but it's true!) I can't believe it. Time truly flies when you're having fun! I can't wait to photograph Kara and Flin's wedding next April. I know Kara's going to make a stunning bride
and Flin a very handsome groom. It's definitely going to be a fantastic night.
"Marianne was amazing! She captured our big day perfectly! ... Not to mention every photograph was absolutely gorgeous! I would highly recommend her for any type of wedding!"
