I love it when people who are traveling through Savannah contact me to have a photo session done. It's so fun to meet people from all over and take their portrait. I would say that meeting people is probably one of the most important parts of my job. I've had to learn how to think on my feet and always have a quick response for every question. Luckily I've been doing this photography thing for a while so those normal questions that I get I now have answers stored away, like "What do I do with my hands?!". haha. But I will say, the little girl in this session just had me in stitches! She was so shy at first but as the session continued she would walk right up to my lens and just stare into it. She was definitely hamming it up. I was speechless and just kept clicking and laughing. It was definitely a situation I have never had yet. It was great. The family was celebrating a birthday with a lovely trip to Savannah. I think it's great that they wanted to get everyone together and then went over the top to have me come and photograph them during their trip. It's a great way to ensure that you will have something to remember your trip to a different city by, especially when you're celebrating a milestone!
