I love shooting weddings in Savannah. With the giant oak trees and the Spanish moss, who wouldn't? I know that Savannah is on the list of many other photographers as a destination wedding location but there are a few places that I would just LOVE to travel to and photograph a wedding in. A few of these places I have been to before and a few I've only dreamed about. Either way, if you're planning on getting married in any of these locations, PLEASE let me know. I'd LOVE to photograph the wedding. And we could possibly work something out with price! ;)_
New York City
I have been to New York, a few times actually. I have family who live on nearby Long Island and in New Jersey. I would love to photograph a wedding in this bustling city. With the history and major landmarks that this city holds, it would be a dream to shoot here! Maybe even a little shoot on the Brooklyn Bridge too?!!
I went to Paris for three days and it was a pretty crazy three days. I would love to go back and take my time through the city. Not only would I love to check out some areas of Paris I didn't get to but I see so many photos of weddings that are shot in Paris and I just wish that I could be there. I'll just have to work on my french a little more and then we will be ready to go! Oolala!
I WANT TO GO HERE SO BAD. I have two friends that live in New Zealand and it makes me want to get over to that side of the world so much more. With so many beaches and mountains, I wouldn't know what to photograph first! And a wedding on top of it would just be breath taking there.
London!! Again, I was here for only three days and would love to have the chance to wander the streets just a little longer. With the old and new all in one city, it would be a great place to photograph a beautiful wedding. The weather would make it especially exceptional because cloudy days are actually the best to photograph in.
The pasta would be enough for me to want to go back to this gorgeous area of Italy. But the hills, trees and old beautiful buildings... oh that's just an amazing reason to want to go back and shoot a wedding there. I think I would die of happiness if I could go to Italy for a wedding. 100%. I would smile from cheek to cheek the entire time.
After watching endless hours of Portlandia, I would love to go to Portland and photograph an awesome couples wedding. I just want to see if the people of Portland are a lot like their tv counterparts. I've heard it's a pretty good copy of what is normal in Portland, but to be able to see it myself would be great.
This is one of the places I've been wanting to go to so badly. The breath taking views, the clouds, the openness.... yes please!! I could see a small, intimate wedding taking place here and it would be amazing.
Well, this one is kind of a no-brainer. Who wouldn't want to shoot a wedding in Hawaii?! The beach is enough to make anyone swoon. No shoes and no worries.
Last but not least, California. Seriously, anywhere in California. I haven't seen the Pacific Ocean or been in it. The mountains, the grapes, the city life and deserts makes California an interesting and lovely place to have a wedding. The light and weather are enough for me to "want to go to there". I've seen so many shots from weddings in California and they are all so beautiful.
These are just some of the places I would love to go. The list is going to continue to grow and hopefully maybe soon I'll be able to say that I've gone back to a few of the places I've been to already. Weddings are beautiful wherever they take place, but these weddings for me would be just a little more special to me!
I love to travel! If you are getting married outside the Savannah area
and need a wedding photographer, please let me know!
