Ok guys... Tuesday. A great day to get married. Wanna know why? Because you can get photos in Forsyth Park without people hanging out in the foreground or the background. Seriously!! (haha) But, no really, a Tuesday wedding isn't a totally crazy idea. Megan and Tyler's wedding was gorgeous and we beat out the rain both on the beach and downtown which was a miracle all on it's own! Megan and Tyler are both from New Jersey (Megan was a Rockette last year?! How awesome is that!!) and decided to get married in Savannah, GA after visiting family members down here a few times before. They fell in love with the scenery, and who can blame them?!
I'll go anywhere is it has Spanish moss and cobblestones.
I knew from the moment I walked up the stairs at the awesome beach house everyone was staying at and I heard N*Sync playing, it was going to be a great day. Everything from the gorgeous florals from A to Zinnias, Heather from Beyond Beautiful by Heather making everyone look terrific, and Megan's gorgeous dress from Bridal Garden there wasn't anything that was going to ruin this perfect day.
Tybee beach made for a warm but beautiful backdrop for Megan and Tyler's ceremony. Once all the family photos were finished we all hopped on the trolley right in time to avoid the rain and get downtown to take group shots in Monterey Square, on Jones Street annnnd a pretty much empty Forsyth Park. It was seriously magical you guys. Then how do you top off a pretty epic day?! A dinner and reception at Vic's on the River!
A gorgeous evening indeed! Check it all out below!
Megan and Tyler- your wedding has seriously been one of my favorites to photograph this year! I hope that you love the photos as much as I do!! Everyone was amazing and I think that your love and family bond really shows in every photo.
I wish you two many many years of love and happiness.
