Paige and Namâs wedding day was my first glimpse into Vietnamese wedding traditions. The tea ceremony starts at the brideâs home where the groom and groomsmen bring gifts and are welcomed into the house by the brideâs parents. Then the ceremony moves to the groomâs house where the bride and groom are welcomed in and pass the tea to the parents and grandparents. I loved all the colors that were displayed during the tea ceremonies. It's nice change from the norm to photograph a bride and groom in beautifully embroidered red and gold garments. Paige and Nam also had a Catholic ceremony after the tea ceremony. Paige's dress was gorgeous (so stunning!!) and Nam was very dapper looking in his tux. It was a day of blending traditions and two families. Their reception was held in the Old Decatur Courthouse in Atlanta, which is a beautifully historical space, that I wouldn't mind photographing in again (hint hint - for anyone out there! haha).

I wish Paige and Nam all the best. If your wedding was a reflection of what your future holds â it will be full of caring family members, amazing friends and lots of love. Congratulations again to you two!!
