The Booking Process

What to Expect After Booking

Once you've booked, I’m happy to share vendor recommendations if you're still looking to round out your team. I love helping couples build the perfect vendor lineup to ensure your day is everything you’ve dreamed of. Throughout the planning process, I’ll check in to make sure you’re on track — whether that means helping with your timeline, deciding if a first look is right for you, or coordinating with your planner about photo locations and transportation.

If questions or concerns come up, we can always schedule a call to talk through details. My goal is to make sure your day runs as smoothly as possible so you can be fully present with each other.

Pre-Wedding Questionnaire

About a month before the wedding, I’ll send over a detailed questionnaire. This will include vendor info, family photo groupings, and personal details that help me capture your day in a way that reflects you best. It also ensures I have everything I need for blog or magazine submissions later — so you won’t have to dig through emails to remember which shoes you wore or who your florist was!

Bonus: it might even prompt you to think about a few last-minute details — like favors, or how you’ll make your grand exit.

Gallery Delivery

You’ll receive your full wedding gallery within 60 to 90 days after your event. Your photos will be delivered in an online gallery, which stays active for one full year. You can share the gallery link with family and friends, and you’ll also receive a PIN to download all of your images.

Once your gallery is delivered, if you’ve ordered an album, I’ll reach out to begin that process. And just a friendly reminder: don’t forget to back up your images to a hard drive once they’re downloaded!

session

Engagement sessions are a favorite of mine for many reasons. It gives you and your fiancé a chance to be in front of the camera and get comfortable with me and my shooting style. By the time your wedding day is here, you both will feel much more comfortable, which will make your wedding day portraits fun, natural, and less stressful! Engagement sessions are approximately 1-1.5 hours in length and typically take place around sunset. About 2 to 3 weeks after your session, you will be sent an online gallery to view & download your photos.

Session

Bridal Sessions are a completely separate session from your wedding day. The session typically

lasts about an hour. I suggest getting your hair & make-up trial done the same day as your bridal

session (this way your bridal session photos are consistent with your wedding day photos). I also

suggest reaching out to your florist to see if they can make a smaller version of your bouquet to

use during your session. Brides love to add this on to their wedding package so they get LOTS of

photos of themselves in their wedding dress.

coverage

For a rehearsal dinner, I typically arrive about 10-15 minutes before guests to capture any details

(floral arrangements, guest seating charts, food/beverages). I like to be at the rehearsal dinner for the cocktail hour portion, mostly because this is when people are chatting and taking group portraits is much easier. Once people sit for dinner, I can either leave for the evening, or sit and eat while waiting for toasts to begin (people don’t love having photos taken while they are eating). Coverage is up to you, but I can usually capture photos of all the guests within the cocktail hour portion of the evening.

coverage

Wondering how many hours of coverage to book for your wedding day? My professional

recommendation is 10 hours, This amount of time allows for lots of cushion in case hair and makeup falls behind schedule, we have to hunt for a family member during portrait time or traveling to

a venue takes a little longer than planned. We can always add more coverage if need be.
