I love photographing weddings, however, once all the excitement clears and you're back from the honeymoon and the photos are all delivered, I've always felt an emptiness and that a disconnection was made between me and the couples I worked with. I have often wondered how else I could reconnect with those couples or friends who I had photographed and loved in the past.

I think I found the answer -

Maternity & Lifestyle Newborn Sessions!!

I love getting to spend time with alllll the mamas & the papas. I know that this time is super exciting for the both of you!! From hearing the heartbeat to the first kick - the little one is on the way!

Let's start your journey to parenthood with a maternity session! For starters, we can work on choosing an ideal location for your session. Let me know what you're thinking or if you need any suggestions! I'm an open book for my clients. 30 to 36 weeks is the primetime to schedule your maternity session. This time frame is perfect because you shouldn't be totally uncomfortable for your session but totally radiating in that motherly glow. You're more than welcome to have dad there and if you have other children you want to include, "the more the merrier" I always say!

Hooray!! You've made it and baby is so happy that you welcomed them into this world with love and joy. Congratulations! Now that most of the hard work is done, let's celebrate with a photo session to make sure that we remember how little they once were (love those little baby toes). Newborn sessions usually start at 1 week until 2 months.

MLP is happy to offer Lifestyle Newborn Sessions, which means that we capture your family unit in the space that you're most comfortable in - your own home! All newborn sessions are shot on a digital camera utilizing flash near the window to help light the space up just a little bit more. Most sessions will be captured in the nursery, master bedroom (on the bed) or living room space so that we really capture those growing family moments perfectly.
