Meet Kayley


My Associate Photographer, Kayley Johansson has been an invaluable member of the Marianne Lucille Photography team for the past six years, serving as the right-hand lady during weddings. Her dedication and attention to detail shine through in every shot she captures, as she takes immense pride in her work. Kayley is not only a talented photographer but also a loving wife to Josh and a devoted mom to their three children: Jameson, Poppy and Joseph Arthur. Balancing her passion for photography with family life, Kayley brings warmth, creativity, and a personal touch to every wedding she’s a part of, making her an essential part of the team and a trusted friend.

Associate weddings are a wonderful way to get the same beautiful, consistent imagery you see here—at a slightly lower price point. Here’s how it all works:

  • From the moment you book, I (Marianne) will be your main point of contact for everything—timeline planning, contracts, communication, and overall coordination. Kayley will be brought into conversations as needed along the way.

If you choose to add an engagement session to your package (which I highly recommend!), Kayley will photograph it. This is a great opportunity for you to get comfortable in front of the camera, connect with her, and help her learn your preferences when it comes to posing and style.

  • As your wedding day approaches, I’ll work closely with you to build a custom timeline. If you didn’t book an engagement session but would still like to connect with Kayley beforehand, we’ll set up time for that. It’s a great chance to share any specific shots you love and make sure everyone feels aligned going into the day.
  • On your wedding day, Kayley will be your lead photographer. She’ll be joined by a trusted second shooter from our network of talented local photographers.
  • After the wedding, Kayley will hand off all of the images to me for editing. I personally edit every gallery to ensure it matches the style you see throughout my website and Instagram. Kayley does an incredible job capturing each moment, and with my editing, your final gallery will feel completely seamless—most people won’t even realize I wasn’t the one behind the camera that day!
