As a wedding photographer, my commitment to my clients goes beyond capturing beautiful moments; I strive to educate and guide them every step of the way. With over 10 years of wedding industry experience, I believe that by sharing my knowledge, (such as the best times for portraits, how to capture the perfect light for details, and recommending the top vendors for their special day) I can help my couples create the best possible wedding day experience. My goal is to ensure that each couple feels supported, relaxed, and confident that their wedding day will be unforgettable, no matter what challenges may arise. I’m here to help them make their dreams come true through every click of my camera.

STEP 01
 
Fill out the contact form
Click "here" to check out my contact page. Fill everything out (the best you can). Let's set up a quick call or text about allllll the details so I can get the full picture of what you're looking for from your wedding photographer (hours of coverage, engagement session, second shooter, rehearsal dinner coverage, etc). I will then send you a custom proposal and a few sample galleries for you to view.
STEP 02
 
Sign the contract
Once you're ready to move forward with booking, I require a signed contract and retainer fee to mark your wedding date down on my calendar. You will receive a copy of everything for you records. Now it's time for some fun stuff - like your engagement session!

Leading up to the big day
As your wedding day approaches, I’m here to make sure everything is on track so you can feel confident, calm, and fully present. I work closely with you during the planning process to ensure the photography timeline supports a smooth, stress-free experience—from your getting-ready moments to your grand exit. We’ll walk through all the details, talk through potential scenarios, and prepare for anything that could come our way, so when the big day arrives, we're ready for it all. Whether it’s perfect light, unexpected weather, or last-minute changes, I’m here to help make sure your day flows beautifully and your memories are captured effortlessly. Let’s plan for peace of mind and picture-perfect moments.
STEP 04
 
The big day + beyond
Finally, wedding day is here! We've planned, emailed and communicated about all things wedding - so that you can truly enjoy your big day!! Hooray!! After the celebration is over, I will send you a few sneak peeks to hold you over until I get your full gallery back to you. Galleries can take up to 12 weeks during busy season (usually spring + fall). Once you get the link to your online gallery, you'll be able to share everything will all your family + friends, order prints or we can work on a designing a gorgeous heirloom photo album.

FAQ
01. Do you travel?
I am based in Savannah, Georgia however, I LOVE to travel. Travel within the 48 contiguous states is included in the pricing. If you're planning a destination wedding outside of the 48 states or in an outside country, count me in! We may even be able to work out a deal if its to somewhere on my bucket list!!
 
02. What should we wear to our portrait/engagement session?
 
Whatever you feel comfortable in! My philosophy is, the more comfortable you feel, the better the photos will come out! I want everyone to have fun during their shoot and you can't have quite as much fun if you're worrying that your skirt is too see through or your shirt too tight. Wear something that you've worn before and nothing too crazy that will date the photos. Try to stay away from being too matchy-matchy or anything that is too bright (neon) or shirts with thin stripes. You're more than welcome to change your clothes during the shoot. I think that one dressier outfit and then another that is more casual works best for shoots. Please check out my pinterest page for some outfit inspiration.
 
 
03. What type of camera do you use?
 
 
I use all professional Canon equipment (5d Mark IV, ex-600 flash, and lots of canon lenses) and a Mamiya 645 medium format film camera.
 
 
 
 
04. Do you have back up equipment?
 
Of course! I always have a back up 5d Mark III camera, back up lenses, back up memory cards and plenty of batteries to capture all your awesome dance moves! Hopefully there will be no need for them, but I have them on hand just in case.
 
 
 
05. Will all the images be edited/completed?
 
 
Of course!! All of the images will be culled (fancy way to say that I will look through the photos and take out all the not so flattering/blurry ones) and then color corrected as well as cropped and edited.
 
06. Will I have rights to the photos? Am I able to print them?
 
Well, yes and no. You will receive a print release document with your images. You will be able to download the photos straight off your online gallery sent to you via email. You will be able to print, and share your photos however you want! The photos are now yours. However, I retain the copyright for the images. These are photos that I will use to support my business in the future. If you have any questions about this, please let me know. Also, if you'd like to see your wedding photos published, please let me know as well!! I love to share my work with other bloggers and see my work in print! If you choose to share anywhere online, please consider giving credit to Marianne Lucille Photography.
 
 
07. How do you back-up your photos?
 
 
After every wedding, I put all the unedited images on to my computer and then immediately upload them to my external hard drive. All photos taken my Marianne Lucille Photography will be uploaded up on the online gallery for only one calendar year. After this, I can not guarantee that how much longer the online gallery will be accessible. You are more than welcome to share the online gallery with your friends and family to look through. You can make favorite lists and even get prints made if you so choose. Please be sure to back them up on your own hard drive.
 
08. I love your website. What's the first step in booking you to shoot my wedding?
 
Awesome! Please check out the "contact me" page and fill out all the details on the form! I'll send you my pricing & packages. If you have any questions or want to schedule a time to meet up in person or chat on the phone, we can totally do that! I want to help you figure out exactly what you need for photography coverage (# of hours, second shooter, extras). Once we have everything figured out, I'll send the contract over for you to look over and fill out.
