As a Savannah wedding photographer, one of the most common questions I get from couples while planning their timeline is — “Should we do a first look?”

Doing a first look means we can take your couple’s portraits, wedding party photos, and sometimes even family photos before the ceremony. You’ll look fresh, your hair and makeup are perfect, and you’ll get that dreamy golden light if your ceremony is later in the day.
After the ceremony, you can jump right into cocktail hour or the reception instead of rushing through portraits. That means more time celebrating and more natural, joyful photos.
3. It eases pre-ceremony nerves.
