From the minute that I met Melanie and Charlie at the Mirabelle Cafe for a consultation meeting, I knew that their wedding was going to be gorgeous. Many of the details they wanted to incorporate into their big day were almost identical to another destination wedding that I shot a few years ago (which was such a weird coincidence that I brought the album from that couples' wedding to the meeting!!). They really wanted to make sure that had their first look on the beach out at Tybee Island, lots of portraits all over downtown Savannah and then their beautiful wedding at The Ships of the Sea Maritime Museum. I had such a fun day getting to photograph these two and their fun wedding party all over Savannah. PLUS all the special quotes from The Office sprinkled throughout their big day was the icing on the cake. "you and I are soup snakes...." Definitely my kind of people. I also loved the moment that Melanie and her mom shared when they did their first look. It was so incredibly sweet and definitely had me tearing up behind the camera. Such an incredibly lovely day spent with an equally lovely group of guests all there to celebrate an amazing couple and their love for one another.
